Construction

Indoor post insulators of cast resin arecylindrical solid insulator. The maindimension and mechanical requirementsare in accordance with IEC 60273

Test

The following test to IEC 60660 isperformed:

Type Test

- Test with rated power-frequencywithstand voltage (dry)

- Test with rated lightning impulsewithstand voltage. Testing minimumfailing loads (nominal loads) forbending, tension and torsion.

Routine Test

- Visual inspection- Dimension inspection

- Testing of conductive connectionof threaded fixing bushes

- Partial discharge extinction voltagetest
